At this time of this Vivo X60 series launch in China, this company confirmed that it will launch another variant in the coming weeks. This Vivo X60 Pro + arrives as the latest edition to this X60 series. While this standard X60 also X60 Pro were the first phones with the Exynos 1080 chipset, this Vivo X60 Pro + is the first phone with Snapdragon 888 in the company’s portfolio.
Vivo X60 Pro + Specifications
The Vivo X60 Pro + features the same premium design as the Pro variant. This means it has a curved AMOLED screen on both edges at the front and a huge vertical camera island at the rear.
The smartphone features a 6.56-inch Full-HD + AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sample rate. The panel features a resolution of 2376 × 1080 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20: 9, a maximum brightness of up to 1,300 nits, HDR10 + support, and more. You’ll also find a perforated cutout that houses a 32MP selfie camera on the front.
As for the optics department, Vivo X60 Pro + is led by a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor. This sensor was unveiled in May last year and enables two new features: “super clear night video” and “HDR video” on the device. This means that the Vivo X60 Pro + can record night videos in low light and without grain by increasing the ISO level.
The 50MP sensor isn’t the only main sensor, you’ll find a 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor on board. It is the main sensor of the standard Pro variant. Here, the 48MP camera also supports 5-axis micro head gimbal video image stabilization (VIS) but gives you a wider FOV of 114 degrees. The 32 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and the 8 MP periscope camera with 5x hybrid optical zoom complete the quad-camera setup.
Under this hood, this latest 5nm-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset powers this Vivo X60 Pro +. Supports 5G connectivity, up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, also up to 256GB of built-in UFS 3.1 storage. This device runs the company’s latest Android 11 based on this OriginOS skin out of this box.
Last but not least, the Vivo X60 Pro + comes equipped with a 4200 mAh battery, the same as the X60 Pro. But the company updates the charging speeds. The device now supports 55W wired charging instead of 33W fast charging in the other two variants. It will allow you to fully charge the battery in about 45 minutes.
