Galaxy S21 Series Will Soon Receive One UI 4.0 Beta Based on Android 12

The stable version of Android 12 is just around the corner. While Samsung generally takes its time releasing One UI based on the latest version of Android, a new report suggests that the South Korean tech giant would soon begin beta testing One UI 4.0 for this Galaxy S21 series.

Galaxy S21 OneUI 4.0 update

As Sammobile reports, a Samsung association manager has shared a banner revealing that this One UI 4.0 beta for these Galaxy S21, S21 +, and S21 Ultra is coming soon. The banner is in Korean and does not have an exact release date for the One UI 4.0 beta. You can get a look at the image below:

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about the One UI 4.0 update. Notably, insider Ice Universe hinted last month that Samsung will begin testing One UI 4.0 for the Galaxy S series in July. Ice World also claims that One UI 3.1.1 will debut with this Galaxy Z Fold 3. In case you’re not aware, Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 at its Galaxy Unpacked event next. month.

Starting the beta program early would also mean that Galaxy devices could test Android 12 earlier than expected. Google is set to release Android 12 later this year, hopefully in September. We will have to wait for Samsung to finalize and reveal all the features of OneUI 4.0.
