Google gives special attention to its users on security and privacy and that is why the company regularly removes malicious apps from the Play Store. Tech giant Google has done the same again. Google has deleted a total of 17 apps infected with Joker malware from the Google Play Store. All these apps can be a threat to the security of users.
Zscaler security researcher Viral Gandhi has shared information about these 17 apps through a blog. Regarding Joker malware, the researcher says that it somehow finds a way to be present on the Play Store, while the company is always monitoring it.
According to the reported report, all these 17 apps can be used for SMS, contact, device information and signup for premium wireless application protocol. Most of these are scanner apps that are commonly used. Apart from this, the list of deleted apps also includes messaging and photo editing apps. Here we are giving the list of these 17 apps and if any of these apps are present in your phone, then uninstall it.
